I hope my letter finds you and your family well. With bittersweet emotion, I would like to share the news that I will be retiring from Women’s Health Care of New England after December 2021. This was a difficult decision to make, but I am confident that you will receive the same excellent care from my experienced colleagues at Women’s Health Care of New England.

I have been fortunate to have been blessed with such terrific patients, partners, and staff over the course of my career. Please know that it has been a pleasure and a privilege to care for you as your OB/GYN throughout these many years. Dr. Jay Ugol, MD earned his Bachelors of Arts undergraduate degree at the University of Rochester in 1978, then earned his Medical Degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1982. He then completed his 4 year Residency Training Program in Obstetrics/Gynecology at The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and Affiliated Hospitals in 1986.

Dr . Ugol is fully Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and an active member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has been practicing full time Obstetrics/Gynecology serving Fairfield County since 1986. He joined Women's Healthcare of New England in 1989.

Dr. Ugol has been named one of the Top Docs in the area by Castle Connolly's Top Doctors every year since 2013. He has two children, Jonathan age 30 and Jillian age 26. He lives in Weston, CT with his wife Dr. Stephanie Pierson Ugol.
