Women's Sexual Health

Female Sexual Dysfunction is a very common problem that many women struggle with, but may not always be comfortable talking about with their doctor. You can feel like your sexual self again. Dr. Ugol has set up a special program at Women's Healthcare of New England to address this common affliction.  Common causes of Female Sexual Dysfunction are: Low Libido, Excitation or Orgasmic Disorder, and Painful Intercourse.

Dr. Jay Ugol is certified by the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health for the diagnosis and treatment of these various forms of Female Sexual Dysfunction. Through a confidential consultation, he would be able to diagnose your dysfunction and identify a treatment. Treatment plans might include prescription medication and/or sexual aids including moisturizers, lubricants, vibrators, etc. Treatment might also include a referral to a physical therapist with specialized training and experience to support women with pelvic pain.
